As we reached the mid-year point and welcomed the start of summer, TBA organised a team offsite that perfectly captured the spirit of collaboration and connection that defines our workplace culture. With several new team members joining TBA in 2025, this adventure provided a timely opportunity for meaningful team building beyond the confines of our usual office routine.

The afternoon was designed to blend outdoor activity with relaxed socialising, creating the perfect environment for genuine connections to form. Our kayaking sessions on the water offered both challenge and enjoyment, allowing team members to support each other whilst navigating the waves together. There's something uniquely bonding about sharing an outdoor adventure that brings out both determination and laughter in equal measure.

Following our time on the water, we gathered for a team barbecue where the focus shifted to shared meal preparation and informal conversations. The collaborative approach to cooking mirrored the teamwork we value in our professional projects, whilst the relaxed setting encouraged the kind of organic discussions that strengthen working relationships.

One of the highlights of the day was the relaxed atmosphere created by several colleagues bringing their dogs along. These four-legged additions to our team offsite brought extra joy and spontaneity to the gathering, providing natural conversation starters and adding to the welcoming, family-friendly culture that TBA cultivates.

The offsite successfully achieved its goal of allowing both new and established team members to connect in a different setting as we head into the second half of the year. These moments of connection outside the office environment often translate into stronger collaboration and understanding in our professional work, creating the foundation for continued success as we grow as a team.
